Any fabrics that don't "fray" without a hem?

I make clothing for my dog, don't even own a sewing machine yet so I've been doing it by hand. Never anything fancy, just "4 legged" outfits to keep her warm. So far I've made about 5 out of fleece simply by cutting the pattern and sewing the pieces together and they're excellent, very durable and have lasted a while. But fleece is the only fabric I've gotten that I don't have to "hem" the edges to keep it from fraying. Are there any other recommendations of fabrics that don't? It would take me twice as long to go over them, so while I know it's possible I'm trying to avoid that now. Fray Block hasn't helped much. Obviously once I get my machine I won't care but I'd like something meanwhile, and wondered if there was any other fabric like fleece that doesn't come apart at the ends. Thanks!

I'm a college student who has suffered from eating disorders in the past few years (and presumably depression too, though it was never directly treated). I've gradually started having suicidal thoughts, from fleeting ideas to searching out a means and imagining my world after I've killed myself. I've had difficulty sleeping and I haven't been eating well either. I'm afraid to go to my school's counseling center for fear of having them contact my parents, who would make my life living hell if they found out. I absolutly love the sims games and i have for a few years but my parents just dont think theyre appropriate for me. Cooking a roast in a crock pot?

I work all day, but I found a great recipe to make a roast. It requires either 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high. So I am going to start it at 3:00 to have it ready around 7:00. You can put anyone down as a referee as long as they are not related to you in any form. No cousins or anything like that. Yeah, they might not ever know but it is best just to do everything by this rule, even when you apply for jobs in the future. Family friends are okay, I have put down several for job applications in my lifetime. It is also okay to put down teachers as references too. However, I would not call them. I seem to spot 2 weeks before my period?

You should not have gotten detention if you have an "excused" tardiness or absence, however, through your own admission, you had two tardy periods that you cannot doent why you were late. If you can "explain" each of those four episodes, you might get leniency, but the administration has final say in that and while two of your late arrivals may be legit, they may consider, "where there is smoke, there is fire", or the smoking gun syndrome. When I stress (even subconsciously) I sleep poorly, tend to get migraines and my wrists begin to ache fiercely. I think meditation might be helpful in stress relief. How was my score on the PSAT?

These are fairly good scores- definitely above average. Your scores will probably rise when you take the actual SATs also. When I took the PSATs in 10th grade, I got a 183, and then in 11th grade I got a 206. When I took the actual SATs I ended up getting a 2210, so my scores jumped a lot with time. Your scores won't get you into Ivy leagues as of now, but I am confident they will jump. Get an SAT prep book and study your mistakes. The writing section is especially easy to improve in. You can get into some really good state schools with those scores as they are now. Good luck!

2 week old hiccups and spit ups?

My son is 6 wks and he has had the hiccups since he was born! He had them when I was prego also and they can last for a good ten minutes. What can be happening with your child is that as she is eating she could be eating a little too fast which can cause more of a gulp, or soem babies hold the milk until their mouth is full which causes a gulp when the milk is swallowed. In these cases the stomach and esophagus takes in air pockets which in turn is let out by hiccuping. Just make sure that you burp her really good and hold her up like the dr. stated. Also for my son when he gets the hiccups after eating or sometimes when he gets himself a little worked up I give him gripe juice. It's all natural and sold in the childrens medicine section at CVS and Walgreens, it can be given 6x a day. 1/2 tsp for your 2 week old. My son will stop hiccuping immediatly after a dose and he likes the flavor and it's all natural. On another hiccups can cause the baby to spit up a little because the stomach muscles are contracting and the milk can't settle, however it sounds like an awful lot of milk is coming back up, especially with the projectile vomitting.That is not normal so I would consult with my doctor again,it sounds like she may have a touch of reflux and if so your doctor may want to prescribe some medications like Zantac or Prevacid.Projectile vomitting and vomitting large amounts are not normal after a regular feeding, your baby should only be eating about an ounce every 2 hrs.If she is taking in more than that she may be overfed and this can lead to the vomitting also.Hope this helps!

How much psi do tires typically loose when the weather gets cold and more, please read?

On my car, I have 3 different tire brands on. All of the tires have good tread. Last week when I checked my tires, 3 of them were either at 28-29 psi and one was at 26. This week I checked my tires, 3 were at 28-29 psi and the other one was at 22 psi. The tire that is low came from a junkyard and it is mounted on a 1995 Chevy Lumina 16 inch alloy rim with some corrosion (the other 3 are on aftermarket chrome rims). Does that tire leak air, or could it be leaking air because of the rim? Also, I live in the Cleveland,Ohio area and it snowed here on Friday night where I live.

My son wakes at 300 am every night?

That is the time my baby woke too, and most of my friends report a 3 am feeding too! I guess if we could all just look around, we would see that we are all up then! LOL. But anyway, mine started to stretch toward 5 am between 2 and 3 months. Then at 3 months he started going to bed earlier, and started waking up at 4 AM!!! Every day for a month. That was the worst, and made me wish for the regular 3 am feedings. But then, too, he started stretching toward 5 and 6 and sometimes 7 am. Now, at 9 months, he sleeps from 7:30 to about 5:30-6:30. So it gets better! Look for 3 and 4 months for changes in sleep patterns again. And check out the book Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child, which tells you about when to expect changes in sleep patterns

Question over new movie Bruno/Rant.?

Now i know this movie is rated R... and i'm 17 years old and at my theater you need a signature of someone 17 and over to get you into a rated R movie, and i was going to get my two friends in, but they were like no, you need a parent to sign you in and "Sit with you in the theater" if you're under 17.. and the person to get the tickets from doesn't even ask for IDs for some of the people. Now tell me what is the difference between signing a couple kids into a movie knowing what it's rated for and why( there was a sign saying graphic nudity of male private parts) and having to have the parent sit with you, if the parent knows your going to see this movie and what's in it, why do theyneed to be sitting with you// it makes no sense. It was definately a controversial day as the people at my theater are retarted at carrying out their job...
