cancer questions?

i'm 20 years old. my great aunt and great grandmother and i believe one of her sisters have had cancer. i was wondering if it could be hereditary? and since there are cases of cancer in my family would the dr recommend a mammogram even thought i'm only 20? i'm not every educated on this subject so any answers would be of help. thanks
