My cat keeps peeing everywhere?

My cat is starting to pee everywhere. We've had her since she was a kitten and she's now 9. There's been no major (or minor) changes in her life. She'll sometimes go in her litterbox, but she's going outside too. It's a big headache. She's also been a bit distant... She used to snuggle with me all the time, but now she can't stand it. Any ideas about what's going on?
