How do I go about finding an editor for stories I wrote?

I have written four crime fiction stories. I would like to find someone to check them for grammatical accuracy, but I am not sure how to go about finding that. I want to get these published, but I need a little help. They were written while I was in high school, but I am hoping to improve them.
